With seven studio albums under his belt with Future Islands and three more released under his rap pseudonym Hemlock Ernst, Sam shared insights into his creative process. We explored his approach to playing with perception and the unexplored themes of his latest experimental rap project, Studying Absence, produced by Icky Reels.
